A Nigerian man moves to Amsterdam. He goes up to the first man he sees and says:
“Thank you for letting me into your beautiful country. You have given me an education, provided me with a free house, the good Dutch people have helped me in every way I desire!”

The man looks at him and says:
“Thank you, but I am not Dutch, I am Syrian.”
“Oh.”

The Nigerian goes up to another man he sees and says:
“I just wanted to say thank you to you and all the Dutch people for giving me a life here I could only dream of! You help me with my bills, give me vouchers for the bus, and I couldn’t do it without your generosity.”

The man says to him:
“That is very nice but I am from Morrocco.”
“Oh.”

The Nigerian goes up to a third man and says:
“Blessings to you and all of the people of the Netherlands! The bright smile you see is because of the dental care your people have provided. In Nigeria I didn’t know if I would ever have good teeth and I just wanted to say thank you!”

The man says to him:
“Thank you but I am actually from Turkey”
“Oh… so where are all the Dutch people??”
The Turkish man looks at his watch and goes:
“Probably working.”
